The committees that are currently examining the different issues are expected to work out plans for better overall water management. Their consultations will be concluded by 2006, after which a Water Charter will be drawn up.
Objectives: 1. To preserve (or restore) the quality of the Camargue's natural environments. 2. To compile information about aquatic conditions in the Camargue (with regard to the marine environment, water quality, etc.), and create a follow-up network.
