The role of the Regional Nature Park


The functions of the Camargue Regional Nature Park are:
1. The economic, social and cultural development of its territory, the main priority being respect for the environment
2. The protection of the natural and cultural heritage
3. The provision of services and information for the public
4. Research on methods of territorial management
5. Educational activities for schools in the park and the surrounding areas


Details of these objectives are given in the Charter, which is renewed every 10 years.
